After saying our goodbyes,

and traveling to JFK,

we arrived safe and sound.
Dinner was at a Sonic Drive-in,

we checked in the hotel and headed over to the church for our orientation. It was good to see RHINO Coordinator Kate Snider again and also meet the RHINO intern John.
Ferry Place is going to be a busy spot this week. In addition to our 19 there will be 60 other folks on site. On the assignment list is the installation of the floor systems for two new homes as well as framing two houses that were just started a week ago.
Until tomorrow. . .

Have some hard work and fun together. This is a trip you will always remember and will change your way of thinking about New Orleans and other needy places.
ReplyDeleteOn another note...personally..I would have chosen the string cheese at Sonic, but that's just me.
